Polocrosse
The fast-paced equestrian team sport where one horse takes you all the way. Join the UK's polocrosse community.
What is Polocrosse?
Polocrosse is a fast-paced team sport played on horseback. Combining elements of polo, lacrosse, and netball, it was invented in Australia in the 1930s and has been played in the UK since the 1950s. Each player uses just one horse throughout the game — making it accessible, affordable, and uniquely demanding.

The UKPA is dedicated to increasing awareness and participation in polocrosse, and works closely with the Pony Club to offer polocrosse opportunities as widely as possible. We are a member of the International Polocrosse Council and British Equestrian.
